At Little Gems Nursery, we work hard to ensure that all people working with children are suitable to do so.

 

We are extremely vigilant when recruiting new staff to join our team.

Our staff are a mixture of both young and old! This is to help bring a fine balance of both valuable experience and youthful energy which is needed to cover all areas of this vibrant learning environment. 

Our Staff are either fully qualified with years of experience in teaching young children or are currently apprentice scheme where they are trained whilst they work. 

 

We are committed to providing the best possible education & care to our children, and to safeguard and promote the welfare of babies and young children. 

 

We recognise that, in order to achieve these aims, it is of fundamental importance to attract, recruit and retain individuals who share this commitment. We follow a strict safeguarding procedure to protect all children and young people in our care and we expect all staff, practitioners, volunteers, students and agency staff to share this commitment.

ALL of our staff are DBS checked and are registered on the Enhanced DBS update service.
